These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website maikamovement.com and the Absorbed mobile application, both operated by Maika Movement Inc ("Maika Movement," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our site or app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Maika Movement Inc is the company behind this site, the Absorbed iOS app, and MĀIKA. Absorbed helps users understand the ingredients in everyday products and how those ingredients may affect their bodies. MĀIKA is our non-toxic activewear label.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our site, and at least 18 years old to make any purchase or enter into a subscription. If you are under 18, you should use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. License to use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the website and the Absorbed app for your own informational purposes. All intellectual property in the site, the app, and the brand belongs to Maika Movement Inc.

4. Acceptable use

When using our site or app, you agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, use automated tools to scrape or copy content from the site, misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our services, or use the app or site in violation of any applicable law.

5. Health and wellness disclaimer

Absorbed is an informational tool. It is not a medical device. The information presented in the app and on this site is for educational and informational purposes only, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

Absorbed does not replace professional medical advice. You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, including decisions based on information you read in our app or on our site.

We do our best to surface accurate, research-backed information, but we cannot guarantee that every ingredient assessment is complete, current, or appropriate for your individual circumstances. Use the app as one input among many, not as a final answer.

6. Third-party content

The app references information from third-party databases (such as Open Food Facts) and third-party services. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of third-party content.

7. Subscriptions and payments

When subscription features are introduced, billing will be handled by Apple through the App Store or by our payment partners (RevenueCat and Stripe). Refunds and cancellations are governed by the relevant store or processor's policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and app are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maika Movement Inc and its founders, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or app.
